Selviergard

"For the Fun of it!"
(Alternate spellings: Selveirgard, Silveirgard, Selveirgaard)

The name was originally derived from a Scandinavian word meaning 'freehold' (not derived from 'silver guard' as legend might have it: source: Master Ulrik Von Matanuska--Founder of Selveirgard). The boundaries of Selviergard are within the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, including much of the Alaska Range: bound on the south by the Knik River and on the north by Hurricane Gulch. It neighbors to the north of the Barony of Eskalya, and on the south of theBarony of Winter's Gate. It is part of the Principality of Oertha in the Kingdom of the West in the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.

This is not a corporate publication of the SCA, Inc. nor does it delineate SCA policy.
